Michael K. Thompson is the head softball coach at Frankfort High School in Frankfort, Michigan. He serves on the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association executive board as the Scholarship Chairman, the Division 4 All-State Chair, and the Division 4 Rankings Chair. He is also active in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
He was inducted into the MHSSCA Hall of Fame in 2016.
In addition to teaching English at Frankfort, Coach Thompson coached football for 25 years and softball for 20 years. He is passionate about developing Championship Team Culture, accountability, responsibility, team building, and effective leadership with coaches and student-athletes.
Coach Thompson is a fully LICENSED Sports Leadership Facilitator with the Janssen Sports Leadership Center.
